This is a great book that would interest young readers. Stanley awakens one morning to see that he has become as flat as a pancake during his sleep. He is able to use this peculiar situation to lend his body in a series of helpful events, and becomes quite popular. This excites Stanley, of course, but sets off a jealousy in his brother Arthur. In the end, it is his very brother that thinks of an idea that ultimately returns Stanley to his original body shape.
This book is a great way to remind little ones that size doesn't always matter!
We are off to our next Stanley adventure tomorrow!
